Land Acknowledgement
Tiohtià:ke (Montreal) is located on traditionally unceded Indigenous lands, with the Kanien’kehá:ka Nation as the guardians of the lands and waters on which we gather. Reconciliation doesn’t only mean acknowledging the violent histories of the past; it takes ongoing Indigenous consent and the facilitation of Indigenous leadership in our everyday practices.
